Wordpad margins trick not working?

Hi there,

I'm trying to discover what my printer's margin limitations are and am
following the help guide's suggestion to set the wordpad's margins to 0. But
nothing happens - they just stay at 0. What am I doing wrong? I'm trying to
troubleshoot a landscape brochure that has a massive right hand margin that's
chopping off my text.

Thanks

Two possibilities:
a) Your printer will print full bleed, but only if a full bleed option is
set in the printer driver (look for "Borderless", "Full bleed", "Expanded
print area" or similar)
b) Your printer driver is misreporting the margins, and so the WordPad trick
is failing (I've had this problem myself and reported it here). You can
find out your correct margins by following this tutorial:

I think after you set the margins to zero and have the doc completely
colored, you need to print the doc. The area that doesn't get
covered is the margins you are looking for.

If you're colouring the document in Publisher, you don't need to adjust the
margins.

If you're adjusting the margins in WordPad, I don't think you can colour the
document. It's supposed to change the margins back to the minimum margins
of your printer.
