Work display text

Is there anyway to make MSP display the work values as purely numeric in a
column, rather than showing vales as 34 days, 21 days etc - I just want the
numeric value in the field ( 34, 21 ).

Insert a custom field such as Number1 and apply a formula :
[Work]/[Minutes Per Day]
