Works Task launcher

My mom has been using Microsoft works for years and I just got her microsoft
office. She is use to opening all of her documents through the history tab of
the task launcher. I noticed that when she opens any of her documents in
office they don't get added to her history, even though the task launcher
seems to be integrated with office too. (you can launch all of the office and
works programs from the task launcher) Is there a way to get those documents
to show up in her history?

to restate the question: Does office 2007 have anything like the works task
launcher history tab? or is there any way to get my office documents to show
up in the Works task launcher history tab?

Dont know anything about Works, its not part of Office and is supported on a
Works group.
Office has an Open Office Doc & New Office Doc shortcuts, which usually
appear on the Win Start Menu
