Writing a document problem

All of a sudden, when writing a document the computer puts a . (period)
between each letter. What in the world did I do for this to start? How do
I fix this?

1. Go to Tools->Option->View->Formatting marks

2. Uncheck "Spaces."

3. Purchase WordPerfect.

I expect you've got View Formatting turned on. If you've got a button with a
thing that looks like a big bold P backwards hit that. If not, put one on
there or do as Shirley Azvedo above has said.

BTW, these marks won't print.
