I would like to know if I should have Excel, power point etc, on my computer
if I have XP home edition. If so why arent they there, and how do I go about
getting them.

Windows XP Home Edition (operating system) and Office XP (productivity
software) are separate applications. If you want Office XP, you will need
to purchase it at retail. However, you may be better served by purchasing
the latest version of Office, Office System 2003, as Office XP has been
withdrawn from the retail supply chain except for remaining inventory.

Hi M.Z.,

MS Windows does not include MS Office applications.
