Yearbook with Publisher

I need to create a 100+ page yearbook that will contain lots of photos and
text. Can it be done with Publisher or is there some other recommended tool?
The resultant data needs to go to a professional printer for creation of the
books.

Publisher is perfectly capable of doing such a book. But let me recommend
you contact your printer FIRST and verify the file format, layout, etc that
they need before you start your project. Post back with your findings.
