2 instances of WINPROJ

Hello,
I use a PC with 2 screens.
I would like to run 2 instance of MS Project 2007.
So I can have one version of my MPP on screen 1 and an other project
(MPP) on screen 2.
How should I do to get this possible.
Thanks !

Hi Tristan,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I don't believe this is possible. I can run 2003 on one screen and 2007 on
the other - that's the best I can do.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Hi Tristan,

Mike is right that only one instance of winproj is possible - but another
potential workaround would be to drag your winproj window to take up the
full 2 screens and then run 2 projects within the one instance side by side
(so not maximized within the winproj window - just sized so that one fits on
each screen). You only get one menu and toolbar which may make things
challanging in terms of focus - so not an ideal solution...

Best regards,

Brian.

Hi,

Thanks for this advice. I have done like you suggest (share my
instance of MSProject 2007 on both screen).
I was wondering why this option (2 instances) is available with Word
200X for example and not with MSProject.

Regards

Tristan
