2007 goes to 'not responding' when query acquires data from three

each of 3 queries has two fields: yestdate and val. run each one no problem.
run a fourth query that has four fields: yestdate (from first query) and
three 'val' fields. when 'datasheet view' is selected, sometimes the data
appears and always the app comes up 'not responding'. the first three queries
are tied together in 'relationships' and the 3 queries are linked together in
the 4th query by 'yestdate' field. note this app was imported from access
2000 and runs with no problems. any suggestions will be very much
appreciated. thanks and have a good day.
