My workplace does not provide IT support for access 2000. The same error
message is occuring in multiple databases with different users on different
computers. All the databases are located on the same network. They occur at
different, random points in data entry -- one database I got the error
message entering in one field, so I closed out, kept entering, and then got
the error message while entering in a different field/different record within
the same database.
The error message: "The record source specified on this form or report does
not exist. You misspelled the name, or it was deleted or renamed in the
current database, or it exists in a different database. In the Form or
Report's Design view, display the property sheet by clicking the Properties
button, and then set the RecordSource property to an existing table or query."
Any thoughts as to what might be going on are much appreciated. Could this
perhaps be a problem with us using Access 2000 databases without upgrading
while running them off a large, shared network?
