Accounts without POP information -- or at least not checking

Hello!

I have Outlook 2002 . I have three separate accounts that I want to
send email from, but I only want to download email from a single
account ( The other accounts forward mail to the first account ). I
notice that Outlook won't let me have a set of account settings
without specifying a POP server and username. I can put in bogus
information, just to close the "Account Settings" window ( or whatever
it's called ), but I don't want error messages popping up saying
"Could not find server...". I couldn't find any place to indicate not
to check email for a pop account.

Where do I set an account not to check POP mail, or can I set up an
account without POP information?

press Ctrl+Alt+S to open the send and receive dialog and set the account not
download new mail (uncheck include in s/r group). Then use mail or something
similar for the server name and fake account info.

Diane, thanks! That's just want worked.
