Activating Office 2003 on new computer.

K

Ken

My old computer is too slow. I'm buying a new one. Can I uninstall Office
2003 Professional on the old one and reinstall on the new one or will I run
into an activation problem when I do so since the hardware will be different?
I just don't want to have to buy another copy along with a new computer.

If its an OEM copy then its tied to original installation, if retail,
uninstall/reinstall, if on line activation fails activate by phone and
explain.

I doubt it is an OEM if the OP states the computer is too old and slow.
Since Office came out last year, any computer purchased in this time frame
would have been more than fast enough. And I doubt that anyone considers a
year old computer "too old."

Except me, that is... ;)
