I asked this question before but now the question has been buried so I'm
trying again to see if anyone has a solution because this problem still
hasn't been fixed.
Problem Computer - http://comp.uark.edu/~adlofto/ss/problemcomputer.gif
Working Computer - http://comp.uark.edu/~adlofto/ss/workingcomputer.gif
As you see from the screenshots, one computer shows as active with the
Folder Sync button and groove synchronization taskbar on the left where as
the other one does not.
The workspaces still sync files correctly and all computers can tell when
each other are active however the problem computer never lists itself as
active. I was guessing it was in the same problem domain as the folder sync
button.
The problem computer use to work and had these folder sync buttons before
but recently they just disappeared. There was something that happened the
other day and the computer was forcibly shut down due to environmental
variables. Thinking that the groove workspace somehow came corrupt because
it is always running I tried to uninstall and reinstall but that did not fix
as well. I'm thinking that somehow all of Groove/Office was not deleted.
This is why I asked for maybe a way to completely wipe the office
installation/groove installation from the harddrive.
Thanks for your support!
