AD Sync x Owner Assignment in Project Server 2007

Hi everybory,

I Create my resource accounts in Project Server 2007 using the Active
directory synchronization.
When the Ad Sync works, accounts are created and the 'assignment Owner'
field is empty. So, when I create a new project and assign resources from the
resource pool, the Project owner becomes the assignment Owner of all the
resources, getting all their assignment.

Why is the defult assignment Owner is the project owner and not the resource
it self as it suppose to be?

Is their a way to synchronize between the Active directory and the
assignment Owner definition?

As I recall, this was an issue with the Pre-SP1 (or Pre-IU) version of Project
Server 2007. Are you sure you're patched through to SP2?

Another possibility is that you have the resources flagged as generic somehow.

Thanks for your reply.

I really didn't install any Service Pack.

My enviroment is composed by Microsoft Office Sharepoint 2007 and Project
Server 2007.

If I install a Microsoft Project Server 2007 SP2, which will be the impact
im my Sharepoint Sites? Should I install any Sharepoint Service Pack before?

Can you recomend me any papers or article that I should read before install
the SP?
