Adding files to root directory

Suddenly I'm having problems adding files to the root
directory. The message says to check the system log and
I've tried working with Simple.net but they can't figure
it out. This started happening after a Microsoft window
upgrade. Then I got a new computer and installed
Microsoft office 2000 on it and I have the SAME problem!

How are you trying to add them??
Also, did you "Publish" your web to the new computer??

Hi Steve,

I have tried both importing and copying and pasting. I
ended up uploading them through the web site but they
limit it to 10mb per file. Then I download into the root
directory. Then publish.

Yes, I have published my web with no problems.

There is a known issue with FrontPage and importing files over 1mb in size. It seems to be a result
of a recent security update.
MSFT is aware of it.
The work around is to place the files in the web using "Windows Explorer" and then recalculating
hyperlinks using FrontPage.
