adding text to scanned word document?

Please help if you can. I have scanned a text document with my scanner using
MS Picture It! and pasted the document onto MS Word but I am unable to enter
text to the document. If anyone has a cure for this ill i would appreciate
it. It would sure save me alot of typing.

You have to use an OCR application (one probably came with your scanner) to
convert the picture of text into editable text.
