address auto fills even though contact deleted

When I start typing a recipient's name in the TO: address line of an email,
Outlook auto fills the name and address of a deleted contact or an older
address.

How can I re-teach Outlook not to populate with an old or deleted name and
address?

Thanks,

Select this name from the list you get and delete it, its coming from
Outlook's nickname cache.
