Administrator unable to check-in projects

Hi,

just started experiencing this problem and not sure of the cause.
I, as the Project Server Administrator cannot check-in Enterprise projects
that users have checked out, I recieve the following message
"You do not have the proper permissions to perform the requested action.
contact your server administrator for additional permissions"

Anyone have any ideas? i'm pretty sure I've seen this before but can't
remember how I overcame it :(
