Again on assigning groups to tasks

Hi all,
reading through threads it seemed to me that assigning groups of resources
to project task is definitely a common "global" problem and IMHO is quiet
surprising this feature is not part of new Project 2007.

By the way, trying to find out a solution that enable tracking of allocation
for a resource that has tasks assigned both directly and through a group, do
any of you have suggestions on how to solve it programmatically (using VBA
macros) or maybe using enterprise resource pools?

Hi Nicola,

If you are using the Enterprise resource pool, ie Project Server 2007, have
you tried the Team Assignment Pool feature ?
