All e-mails constantly reload...

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop My Entourage constantly downloads all the e-mails for all my accounts, work and personal-both on yahoo servers, instead of just the new ones. It never happens at the same time. Some times it won't happen for weeks and then it'll happen twice in one day. This is especially annoying because I have six and seven copies of the same e-mails and have to constantly go back and erase the extra copies. I've looked around and nothing I do seems to work.

Does this happen to anyone else? Or does anyone have any ideas to stop this.
