all of my files are coming up unavailable

Madly Used Malvolio

I have Office 2003 and I just upgraded from Office 2000 and now any time I
try to open a file it comes up unavailable. I tried uninstalling my Office,
my antivirus software and reinstalling both but it still doesn't work. I
reinstalled Office 2000 and I dont have this problem? I want to use Office
2003 but can't get past this problem. Can someone help me?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Madly Used Malvolio asked:
