Take out publisher 2000 and put 98 back in?

If you no longer have it to put in, call and yell at the person who did it
and ask them if THEY have it?

Just what first came to mind when I read it. I know, it's much easier to
see solutions when it's someone else's problem LOL

Publisher 2000 should be able to open Publisher 98 files
with no problem. While I don't have a computer with both
Pub. 98 & 2000 installed, I do have one with Publisher2.0
(Even before Pub 98 released), 2000 & 2003 installed. Pub
2000 will open Pub 2.0 files without any problem. Pub 2003
won't open 2.0 files. I have created files in Pub 98 on
another machine and opened them in 2000 & 2002 with no
problems.

Normally when you get this message, "Publisher cannot open
files in a different version", you are attempting to open a
file that was created in a NEWER version of publisher than
the one trying to open it. If this is truly not the case,
you need to have Publisher program repaired as something is
obviously wrong with it.
