Application not found

im trying to open the pictures attached to my email using microsoft outlook
2003 but when i try to open it i have this error application not found.

do i have to check some configuration in it?

This sounds like either you don't have an applciation that is designed to
handle the attachment file type or there's no registry association for that
file type to an application. What file type does the attachment have?
