Apply amendments to the Calendar

Hi All

I have a reasonably large schedule handed to me. Unfortunately, the
standard calendar needs to be changed to incorporate public holidays.

The schedule has a number of items where the % completes are updates,
resources are assigned into each tasks and its being kept up-to-date on a
daily basis.

In updating the standard calendar for the schedule I don't want to break it,
as this will take a long time to determine the individual errors.

Any help and assistance would be appreciated.

Are holidays "errors"?

If you enter company holidays on the Standard calendar, beginning with the
next holiday and spanning into the future past the current finish date of
your project, the only consequence will be that Microsoft Project
reschedules future planned work that occurs on a holiday. For example, if a
task has work scheduled on Memorial Day coming up next month, Microsoft
Project will reschedule the work to the next day. So, adding holidays to
the Standard calendar will not break the schedule, but keep in mind that
doing so will probably cause the schedule to shift in the future around
those new holidays. Hope this helps.
