archiving old contacts

can place old contacts (that I might need in the future, but not currently)
in an archived folder that I can access if necessary down the road? In other
words, make a "out-of-date" contact list? I don't want to throw these out,
but I don't them cluttering up my current copntact list.

Just create a new Outlook Data File PST file.
Call it "Archived Contacts." Keep track of its name and location.
Copy these Contacts into it.
The Close it to remove it from your profile.
