The files in your temporary internet files folder are cached files. You'll
get files in there if you, for example, open a file from within Outlook by
double-clicking it in the email message. I wouldn't expect those files to
open again after youi've deleted the email, though, because they're not
really *saved* in the temporary internet files folder.
If you open a PPT file from within an email message, you then need to go to
File/Save As and do a true save of the file if you want it to be available
later.
