auto installing

Any time I try to use any ms office program like Word, Power Point, or Front
Page, the application starts to come up, and then the windows installer
appears to reinstall the application.... all before I can use it. This only
takes 20 or 30 seconds, and everything is fine after it, but WHY is it doing
that? and how can I stop it?? An answer would be much appreciated.

Make sure you are logged on as an Administrator and allow the Windows
Installer to install the necessary information. Chances are you are
using a limited user account and are unable to save the data added by
the Windows Installer.
