Auto shutdown option after slideshow?

Does anyone know a way to have powerpoint close once the slideshow is over
we have an end-user that is going to send out weekly ppt's and is trying to fin
a way to make it easier on everyone that receives it. Thanks

If the presentation is saved as a PowerPoint Show (.pps) file, PowerPoint
will close once the show is over. Either change the file extension from
..ppt to .pps or open the presentation, choose Save As, and choose
PowerPoint Show for the type of presentation.

Probably the easiest would be to add a button labeled "The End" on the last
slide and go to Action Settings and hyperlink it to "End Show". The show
will end when the user clicks on the link, whether it's in Kiosk mode or
not.
