Automagic Margins

Morning All.

This has been bugging me for a while now, and I can't find where to turn
this 'feature' off. Can someone help?

In Word, typing a paragraph, I start my paragraphs with a TAB. Word,
automatically tweaks the margins for me, and the next paragraph I start has
the margin setting already there. How do I turn this off?

Basically, when I hit the TAB key, I want a TAB; when I want to play with
the margins, I"LL play with the margins.

Running MS-Word (SP-1)

Thanks for your help.

Tools > Options > Edit tab, UNcheck "Tabs and backspace set left indent".

Which is what everyone wants - except for the designers of Word, apparently. :/
