Automatic text insertion

When looking at the Publisher File canned "Post Cards" design format, if you
type your name and address details on one side, it is automatically entered
as the return address on side 2. I would like to set this feature up on a
personally designed format file I am working on so I can type a special 4
digit number on one page and have it auto insert into one or two other boxes
on other pages in the same document. Despite searching the HELP menu, I
cannot find a terminology for this nor can I figure out how to do it. Can
anyone help?

This workaround may not appeal to you, but it works. Edit, Personal Information,
insert your number in one of the boxes. I used "Job Title." On your publication
page, Insert, Personal Information, select "Job Title." A text box will be
created with your number. Copy/paste the text box on the following pages, as
many on each page you need. The number will change in each text box every time
you edit the number. If you use Font Schemes, you will not have to manually
change the font and font size.
