This has been driving me nuts...
I am running Outlook 2000, and I need a way to automatically export
emails to text files on a network drive (or C:\ drive, doesn't really
matter).
After finding out the hard way that I can't fire off a macro from a
rule, it appears to me the best way would be to use
ThisOutlookSession. Unfortunately I'm a Perl programmer by trade and
am not too good at VB yet, and again, I unfortunately do not have the
time to learn VB at the moment.
Are there any script sites out there that should have what I need, or
does anyone have a better idea? I'd also like to filter out what
messages get dumped if at all possible (which is why I originally
tried a rule), but that's not as important to me as automating the
dumping to text files (I can use Perl to filter out what I need).
Thanks.
