Automating Colors when inserting Tasks

I have different tasks that I am trying to insert into my project. When I
insert these tasks I want the color to automatically be red. How can I do
this? Each time I have a subproject I want it to remain black, however,
everytime I insert new tasks I need these to be red. Any suggestions?

You could probably create a change event macro or something similar that
would trigger a particular font characteristic, but in my mind that is
probably more complicated than necessary. I suggest you use the Marked
field to indicate new tasks. In other words, when you add a new task,
set the Marked field to "yes". Then set up your text styles (Format/Text
Styles) such that marked tasks get your desired formatting.
