Big delay when opening another Doc or spreadsheet

If I have Word or Excel open and I open another document or speadsheet, the
one I have open pops up, then 5-10 seconds later the document I am waiting
for comes up. I tried running repair, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
The rest of the pc runs fine. Any suggestions and greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,

Try disabling the anti-virus program in the computer and try to open the
Word or Excel files. Check if they open up fine. If not, try renaming the
file 'officeav.dll'
to 'officeav.old' and restart computer. Then try opening the applications
again.

Thanks,

Mittu
