booting up word v 10.0.0 and/or uninstalling office v10.0.0

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

I can no longer boot up word-- it almost get there, but quits with a message "word has suddenly or unexpectedly quit". However, I am able to open a word document and get a new blank word page.
I was told to uninstall office and then reinstall it, but I can not find an uninstall icon on my office CD.
