Buttons to make videos run

Hi,

I intend to insert 3 different videos onto a single powerpoint slide.

How would I insert 3 buttons, so that when the presentation is run, clicking
on each button would cause the appropriate video to play. Is this possible?

Yes it is.

Instructions for PPT 2002/2003:
Insert all three videos as you normally would. Click "when clicked."
Draw 3 buttons - perhaps you want to identify each of them by a descriptive
name
Go to Slide Show > Custom Animation (you see each of the three videos in the
animation task pane)
Select Video 1. in the drop down menu Select Timing
In the timing dialog box , under triggers select Start Effect on Click of
then click Button 1 (if will have the name you gave it).
Click OK.
