Calculation number of days

HELP, is Excel capable of taking one date and subtracting
another to come up with the number of days to bill for?
If so do you know how to do it -- thank you

B1: end date
C1: Formula
=B1-A1
and format this cell as 'Number'

Yes it is.You can just use simple subtraction formula to do that.

for eg. If A1 has start date and B1 has end date and You want the number
of days in C1, then just type in B1-A1 and format c1 to number format.
