I am trying to help mom remember appts. by using the outlook calendar. She
won't open the program when she turns on the computer, can I put it in the
startup folder and it will automatically open when she turns on her computer?
Any suggestions?

Certainly. Open both the folder containing outlook.exe and her Startup
program group. Right-click outlook.exe and drag it to the Startup folder.
Release the button and choose "Create shortcut here".
