Calendor cannot be found

I am using MS Office XP Professional on the Windows XP
Professional OS at my home. In Outlook, I try to access
the calendar by using the icon on the Outlook Bar, but I
receive the following error message:

"Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could
not access the specified folder location."

However, when I want to set an appointment or check the
calendar by going to the VIEW menu, clicking on GO TO,
and selecting CALENDAR, it comes up.

Any cluses as to the problem?

Thanks,

Vince

Just create a new shortcut to the Calendar. Delete the original one
first. Then enable the folder list (View | Folder List) so you can see
the actual Calendar folder next to the Outlook Bar. Right-click the
Calendar and drag it to the Outlook Bar, to the place you want the
shortcut to be. When you release the mouse button, choose Add to
Outlook Bar from the menu. You should now have a working shortcut.

Did you move or have a corruption occur with your .pst file. This is
normally what happens. All you have to do is right click on the icon
and select remove from outlook bar. Then right click and select Add
to Outlook bar and select the calender folder and click on okay. It
will be at the bottom of that toolbar. Click on it, and it should now
work. We get that alot at work when someone corrupts their PST file
at work. Also, to move the calender folder up the list, just left
click and hold while dragging it up the list. Hope this helps.
