Can access documents

I am using office 2003 and cannot access any of my document files. When I
click on the document name it comes up that the file is not available. then
when I close word it says the file normal already exists do you want to
replace file . I have tried the suggestion in an eariler email - Disable
Norton plugin (I don't have a plugin) so I did what Norton suggested - I
created a macro in word. Still doesn't work! Help! I have XP Home Edition.

Darlene,

Try double clicking on the Norton System Works icon, the path route doesn't
work for everybody. You will then see Norton System Works System Status OK
immediately above is the options button, open Norton Anti-virus and on the
window under "Other" you will see Miscellaneous.
