Hi Johnny,
You can have a textbox that you can enter text into during a show, but it
will be a Control Textbox, not a normal textbox.
To insert this, while in the Edit mode of PowerPoint, click on View =>
Toolbars => Control Toolbox => Toolbars (name will show on mouse over), then
click and drag the textbox to the desired position/size.
This Control Textbox is very different than the type of textbox you are used
to using in PowerPoint. It will not auto wrap, unless the properties are
set to multi-line (not the default). Manual line breaks require Ctl+Enter
or Shift+Enter.
