Can I open last doc automatically?

Word 2000 SP3. Is there a way to have the last
document that I worked on open automatically when I start Word?

Thanks, Suzanne, but I do not see a command line switch mentioned in
that document that will automatically open the last file used in Word.
Is there such a command?

I nearly posted a similar note, but I found it at the very end of the
document: /mfile1 .

(Whoever at Microsoft thought it was a good idea to list options in
three separate groups by what help file they'd been forgotten from?
That person deserves today's "usability kick in the pants".)

Terrific! Thanks, Stan, that's exactly what I was looking for.

I saw that reference but was unable to decipher /mfilen into
/mfile(number of the file on the MRU list).
