Can I share an *.mdi file to other users without Office2003 ?

I've created an *.mdi file using MICROSOFT OFFICE DOCUMENT IMAGING.
If I want to share it to other user who has no Office2003, will he be able
to view it ?
IF NOT, what does he need to do other than installing Office2003 ?

Someone please enlighten me.

The MS Office 2003 MDI format is, so far only compatible
with the MS Office 2003 Document Imaging Tool.

He can view the TIF format you can save to from
Imaging, but not MDI.
