Can Office coexist with Works ?

Jimbo

I wish to install Office 2003 Pro on a computer which has only MS Works.

The owner has witten a book, and is deathly afrais that my installing MS
Office will chnage the formatting in some way

Can Office be installed and keep Works intact and unchanged ?

Thanks

Installing an App, or uninstalling one does nothing to the data files, which
in any case should be backed up, and I would guess the owner has no backups

Word is Word regardless of whether it came with Works Suite or Office. As
long as the printer driver doesn't change, you should be fine.
