Can send but not receive emails

Until last night, I was sending and receiving email from both my email accounts
on Entourage. then, I was unable to send/receive from my (e-mail address removed)
account. I can send email just fine.
I called the tech support for the ISP, all is well on that end, we verified
that my account settings are all correct.

Testing in a new User will quickly tell you if the problem is system
wide or
if it's your User's folder that contains the problem. Go to System
Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to the New User
by
logging out/in or use Fast User Switching. Launch Entourage and enter
the
problem account. Set to leave on server (under the Options tab in the
account window). Does this work? If yes, then you know the setting are
correct and it's a problem in your User's account.

Open the Keychain and find your account. Delete it.
Open Entourage and delete the account...not just erase info
Set up a new Account

Basics:

1. If you can receive but not send then you have a bad SMTP
configuration
2. If you can send but not receive you have a bad POP or IMAP
configuration

You can try re-entering info.
You can delete account and create a new one.
Using copy/paste can result in an extra space being added. Type
carefully.
Check your Keychain for corruption.

I did the above, and was able to send and receive using the newly
created user. I then went back to my original user and deleted my mail
account in Entourage. I then deleted all keychain entries for cox.net.

I restarted Entourage and added my account back, exactly like I did on
the other user. I still can NOT receive emails. I'm snowed. Any ideas?

I also just executed the command sudo /usr/local/bin/tcpflow -i en0 -c
in a terminal window. I received an error:

068.006.019.002.00110-010.000.001.200.60405: -ERR invalid user name or
password.

This user name and password is the EXACT thing I used under the other
account and it worked fine. It also works fine using Mac Mail.
