Can' t open - Show Only

I was saving my powerpoint presentation and my Windows XP
froze. I had to manually shut down. When I re-started,
my presentation was there with a temp file as well. When
I try to open the file, it automatically starts the
show. When I right click, I have no option to open. The
first option (highlighted) is SHOW. ESC just bring me
back to the file. I can't get to the slide sorter or
normal, etc to work on my presentation.
I hope there is a simple fix.
Please help.

Two options to try:

1) Open PowerPoint program, then open file from within PowerPoint.

2) Rename the file to FILENAME.PPT and double click.

If neither of these open the show in edit mode, then please post back to
this thread and we will help you get to the bottom of this.
