Highlighting text - Right click mouse - the only choices
are "copy here" and "paste here" . how do I get the
normal "cut" "copy" "paste" menu choices? I have cleared
the clipboard and rebooted my computer. It doesn't help.
It does the same on any document I open In Word 2000.
Help!!!

Hate to think it can be this simple, but if you move your mouse ever so
slightly when you right-click you will get the wrong Shortcut Menu. Be sure
to rest your palm on the table or desk, making sure the mouse doesn't move,
then right-click. Did this work? If not, post back (and I sincerely
apologize), but it does happen!

The key with a picture of an arrow and a sort of piece of
paper or something between the flying window key and the
Ctrl key on the right side of a standard keyboard (three
keys to the right of the spacebar) is the equivalent of
right click. On a laptop it might be at the top right of
the keyboard. Sometimes it is easier to use than the
mouse.

Good point! It may seem trivial to some, but there are a lot of folks out
there who struggle with the dexterity needed to use a mouse effectively.
THANKS!
