Cannot find Document Imaging in Office 2003 Software

I have been trying to add text to a scanned document in my Office Word 2003.
I am not able to find any document Imaging in my tools menu. Isn't this part
of the software? I have an XP operating system.

MS Office Document Imaging is an optional installation
item for Office System 2003. Check the advanced features
settings for Microsoft Office in Add/Remove Programs in
the Windows control panel.
