Cannot publish results page to Web

I have not been able to publish a results page with my FP 2003. I have
successfully created and published Access Databases, Submission pages, etc.
But for some reason, when I go to publish a results page, my server
"unexpectedly disconnects." I can create a results page, but can't publish
it. My web host says there is nothing they can do because they say their
equipment is working fine. I am using ASP. They say they support ASP and
..NET, and have frontpage extensions, etc. If anyone can help I appreciate it.

Explain what you mean by a "results page"
Is it a file containing results from a form in say the _private folder?
If so usually it is flagged as do not publish
(to prevent over writing results generated on the web form)
In FP 2003 right click it in Folder List to unselect Do Not Publish
In prior versions View Reports Workflow Publish status to change it

Thank you for responding. I have created a .mdb database, which is in the
fpdb folder on my web. I then create a new page, click "insert," "database,"
and "results." This starts the results wizard and sets it up to connect to
the database named in the fpdb folder. I also have a form created, which I
supposedly configured to send its data to the same .mdb file in the fpdb
folder. So, in theory, when info. is submitted throught the form, it should
go to the database, then to the results page. My problem is when FP2003 goes
to publish the results page, I get the error msg. that the server
unexpectedly disconnected. This means I can't save or publish the file.

Thanks again.

Did you also check w/ your host that they also support Access Databases (along w/ ASP and the FP SE)
Since you are having a publishing problems, sounds like they don't (since FP must also publish the DB file along w/ the .asp files
in http mode to a server that supports both)

PS
Separate 2 things in your thinking
The DB stores data
- was it created in a server based web (http://...) by using File Import (and did you allow FP to move it to the fpdb folder and
create a global.asa file for it?

The DBRW in a page generates a display of the Data from the DB
(you need to save the page as .asp if you chose the ASP option)
(it can be named results.asp or whatever you chose)

If you want to Add / Edit data to the Database you will need to use a form set to send to DB or DIW under File New - more web site
templates

Or learn to hand code your ASP

I just asked my hosting company and they said that they do support Access db,
along w/ frontpage, and with FP SE.

Also, I did use the DBRW to create the database, which was put by the wizard
into the folder fpdb. And yes, the pages are all saved as .asp. The DBRW also
created a submission form and a results page, all connected to the same
databse in the folder, fpdb.

I don't know, but I think this is a lost cause!!! I appreciate any help you
may be able to give me though!
