Cannot Uninstall Office 2003

E

Ed Pyle

I recently encountered a problem and decided to uninstall and reinstall
Office 2003. However I cannot uninstall it - get a message to the effect
that"

"The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the
source exists and that you can access it."

Anyone have any ideas on how I should proceed?

In addition to Carey's help (be real careful with this
uninstall utility), to uninstall Office, you need access to
the installation files. If this is a network install, you
need the same connection to the network you had when the
product was installed. If it is a CD installation, you need
the CD/s to uninstall. Sometimes the install information is
changed within the program and you need to make sure the
file location is correct. If you are attempting to
uninstall by using the CD setup, try using the setup from
within the Office folder. May help.

Let us know how things work.

I am having the same problem that was descibed earlier in this thread... Only
the utility did not work... Yes this was a network install from a server with
a name that no longer exists... How can I remove or reinstall Office 2003 on
this clients computer?

Thanks for any help...
