Can't change Save as location

Hi all,

I am having a strange error with one of our PC's. If you have an office
document open, and you go to save as, and try to change the location, the
computer immediately freezes up and have to reboot . Has anyone ever had
this happen? I am not sure on what to do to correct this, possible
re-install of office? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
