can't change tasks in Web Access

Hello,

I need to get straight on a few basics. The boss and I
would like to be able to make major changes to our
Project plan files from within SharePoint or Web Access.
We're running Project 2002 Pro with Project Server 2000
and Windows 2000. So far we only see very limited views
of the project, with only summary tasks listed in the
task list. Further, we are unable to make changes from
this window.

We may be deluded in trying to make changes there. What
is the proper way to go about this? Obviously, we want
to have our Project files on Server and accessible to the
programmers view. We don't want to keep moving updated
files across the network. Any advice?

Ken:

Project plans are managed using Project Pro. Project assignments are
statused using Project Web Access. There is limited functionality in Project
Web Access to make changes to project plans, but not major changes.
